Tolerant Systems is an IT services company focused on delivering security solutions to mid market clients across the UK. The Company was founded and lead by Nick Tunstall who had built up the business to more than £6m in revenues. When the shareholders wanted to exit the business they selected John Snead as their corporate finance advisor. John Snead was able to complete a transaction with Redstone Telecom at a value that exceeded the shareholders’ expectations.
Tamesis is a software business whose products are sold to leading financial institutions and trading houses to assist them in the execution and risk management of derivative trading. The Company was owned by the founders and a venture capital firm who selected John Snead to assist them in a sale process. John Snead was able to deliver and execute an attractive solution which enabled the Company to be acquired by PatSystems at an attractive valuation to the shareholders.
SmartFocus is a public software company whose products and solutions are sold to marketing departments of large corporations. The Company was keen to expand internationally and John Snead was able to identify and assist in the acquisition of AIMS Software SA. This French software company significantly accelerated their European expansion.
Technetix Limited designs and delivers sophisticated solutions for operators in the cable TV and communication network markets. The Company wanted to acquire its major competitor during a difficult funding environment. John Snead was able to complete the acquisition using an innovative financing solution which delivered significant value to the shareholders over subsequent years.
